A little business update

A little business update

Those of you who have followed Creation closely over the past year or so will know we never stand still. This past month has been further evidence.

As of Friday just gone, and after a year of basing herself out of the gorgeous shop front on Milton Street, Laura moved her Loved by Laura interiors, furniture and upholstery business back into Creation. She’s loved the light in that little shop over the road and it was a great place to meet customers and discuss commissions, but she’s delighted to be back in the beating heart of Creation. I’m sure you’ll agree, Laura’s new concession at Creation - a little interiors oasis within the wider shop - looks fantastic and brings further retail space, and a new dimension to Creation. Her practical work will be carried out in one of the studios at the back of the building and she’s also secured a serviced office to provide clean space for large sewing work, such as blinds. She’ll be sharing this space with her husband, Rob, who has been working from home since the Covid pandemic.

Alongside Laura, Paula’s Make It Craft Supplies has also set up shop in Creation, offering a everything you need to make and do, including craft kits for all ages, such as crochet and metal construction sets.

The Creation Emporium (our rather grand name for the shop) will be closed this coming Monday and, as normal on Tuesday, however, this is with the best of intentions. From Wednesday, Creation will reopen and be open SEVEN days a week up until Christmas. The months before Christmas proved to be some of our busiest months last year and we want to give customers and sellers the best chance in this important period for retail.
