Creative destination, unique experience

Creation, in the heart of the beautiful Saltburn-by-the-Sea, is a creative hub supporting local artists with affordable workshops. It is also a magical indie craft market - a permanent makers' market - allowing small independent businesses to sell their products and customers to browse an incredible array of products spanning art, photography design, jewellery, pottery, gifts and much more!

Made in the North

Creation was founded in late 2023 by Laura Bowles. Her vision was for a creative hub, providing affordable studio space for local artists and makers, and a place for small independents to market their products without the stress of manning their own shop. 

Studio holders moved into their new studios in early March 2024 and the Emporium - a permanent makers' market - opened over the Easter weekend a few weeks' later. Since then it has grown, now hosting over 80 independent businesses and 100s of unique products. It is open six days a week.
